Computer Aided Design Technician

Job Summary:       
As a CAD Drafter you will play a critical role in producing accurate technical drawings and designs that support our engineering, manufacturing, and production teams. This position requires expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, schematics, and layouts based on specifications and input from engineers or project managers.
  • Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and other documents to accurately complete drawing assignments.
  • Update and maintain design documentation and drawings, ensuring all changes are recorded and versions are controlled.
  • Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and management to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on designs and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation such as assembly instructions, parts lists, and installation guides.
  • Participate in meetings and design reviews, providing input from a drafting and design perspective.

  • Stay updated with the latest CAD software, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Work Hours:: 
Your regular work hours will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs, for which you will be compensated accordingly.

Machine Operator

Job Summary:         
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Setup and Operation:
    • Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning fixtures, tools, and materials.
    • Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure adherence to specifications.
  2. Quality Assurance:
    • Read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders.
    • Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
    • Identify and address machining errors or defects promptly.
  3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
    • Report major mechanical or operational problems to the maintenance team.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and ISO regulations.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
    • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and machining techniques.
